University of Virginia.  Charlottesville, VA, Fall 2003.  Completed 12 credits towards masters degree in sports psychology

University of Virginia.  Bachelor of Urban and Environmental Planning, May 2001.


Employment
                  

Trainer.  August 2006-present.  Ran successful independent lesson operation teaching more than 20 students per week and managing the training of more than 15 horses at various locations. 

Clinician.  August 2006-present: Travelled to Connecticut, California and throughout Maryland and Virginia to teach one to three day long eventing clinics.

Reddemeade Farm.  Silver Spring, MD August 2005-August 2007; Director of Eventing. Managed instruction, event coordination, planning and budgeting of large farm with $1 million dollar operating budget with 500+ clients.

Severn Farm.  Charlottesville, VA January 2002-July 2005.  Managed breaking, training, competing, and selling event horses and foxhunters for private farm. 

Riding Instructor and Trainer. 1998-2005.  Trained horses and riders for eventing, dressage, hunter/jumper, pleasure, and foxhunting.


Major Achievements    

Rolex Kentucky Three-Day Event 2006.  Competed at highest level event in United States.

USET Developing Rider List 2005, 2004, 2003, 2001.  Selected by United States Equestrian Team as promising developing rider to attend training session taught by Kim Severson and David O’Connor.

“A” Rating in United States Pony Club 1999.  Highest rating in National Organization that teaches horsemanship and riding skills to children under the age of 21.

Fair Hill International CCI*** October 2004.  Place 11th at international event.

Fair Hill International CCI*** October 2003.  Placed 25th at international event.

Foxhall Cup CCI*** April 2002. Completed three-star level competition.

Commonwealth International Three-Day Event CCI** May 2001. Completed two-star three-day event.

“Never Buy the First Horse You See?” Practical Horseman, February Issue 2001.  Feature Article written about my experiences with horses, showing, and attending college.

North American Young Riders Championships 2000. Parker CO. Member of Area II Two-Star Team Gold Medal and Placed Fourth individually.
